As of 10.01.21 it seems that collectable achievements DO NOT unlock for some users. :(
Whether it depends on unique steam account or other factors - I dont know.

I was able to get the Historian achievement using a console command.

First activate the console in the lunch option of the game by adding "-allowconsole" (without the "")
Once the save is loaded, get the last audio.
Activate the console with the TAB key and type "exec deck2logs.debug", you should get the achievement at this moment

I also was able to get the Weapon Specialist achievement using a console command.
Load the save, get the last upgade and in the console type "exec FullEverything.debug"

Seems to be working for other gamers too, so.. try it. :)

3) Disable vita-chambers before loading up difficulty saves.

You'll get these ones:


1) 12_26_2020_21_37_50 - Historian (Fort Frolic map)
Pick up the last audio log and trigger the achievement.


2) 12_27_2020_10_58_6 - Tonic Collector (Neptune's Bounty)
Purchase any tonic from the vending machine.

3) 12_27_2020_11_26_57 - Weapon Specialist (Neptune's Bounty)
You have the last weapon to upgrade:


4) 12_27_2020_15_10_44 - Found Cohen’s Room and Irony (Olympus Heights)
Go upstairs to his room, then kill the artist and take a photo of him.


5) 12_27_2020_15_54_42 - Dealt With Every Little Sister (Point Prometheus)
Kill the Big Daddy and save the last little sister. Just fry him with electro-gel. :)

Load up 12_27_2020_16_19_43 and beat the final boss.

Then, you will unlock:



Seriously Good At This (The player has beaten the game on the hardest difficulty setting)

A Man Chooses (The player has beaten the game on the survivor difficulty setting)

Brass Balls (Complete the game on Hard difficulty without using a Vita-Chamber)

I Chose the Impossible (Complete the game on Survivor difficulty without using a Vita-Chamber)

Little Sister Savior (Complete the game without harvesting any Little Sisters)

The third and final challenge was amazing! Highly recommend completing it yourself.
However, if - IF - you struggle, then use the save files.

Load up 12_29_2020_14_48_10 for: Expert

Load up 12_29_2020_11_59_13 or 12_29_2020_11_58_22 for: Tough Guy and Collector

You might get Research PhD: Max out all possible research,
if you take a photo of any enemy.
I completely forgot to back up files before taking the final research photo. =/
