except.... can you capture and sell enemy vessels with this thing? i imagine anything would fit, but what im really asking is does it need to be a "shuttle" or else the game makes it disappear at port or some bs?

i love a big ship, but i'm assuming you learned some very disillusioning things post-test. my very first sub was much too large to effectively traverse the icy waters or otherwise dock in many cases. It was especially upsetting because it took forever to assemble, and everything seemed just fine in the editor. too many of anything is a problem, but the game hatessss lights. Easy ways to reduce the count include increasing the range to use fewer or only one per room, turning off shadow casting and increasing the range further so that multiple rooms are lit by one light, or reducing room count. i promise 100%, there is no advantage afforded by making a sub that large that you couldn't also fit into a sub a tenth of the size if you just mess with scaling, values, orientation, and implementation of honed build strats like skillful and artistic layering.

This is what they use to deploy those beacon stations, probably.

i cant even fix the outdated mods cus of the lighting cap

for context this sub is called the WOLFSHAMMER it has a slightly larger then a barsuk sized sub in its chest cavity and its currently broken due to lack off care by the creator and refusing to change the light count to fit the new cap to make it even REMOTELY useable
