The IMC TRADE RUNNER - Transport Cruiser

The Trade Runner is an armored transport cruiser with redundant power and drive systems to ensure the cargo always reaches its destination. Designed to transport cargo, munitions, fuel and storage tanks to any destination despite the opposition.

Dual Power Drives:(Manually turn on secondary reactor before use.)
The Trade Runner comes equipped with dual reactors, engines and main ballast pumps. The dual systems can be used to cover for equipment failure or can both be enabled for a dual powered performance boost. The secondary power system takes over all accessory power roles when engaged.

Ballast Armor System: (Experimental)
The Trade Runner features a new ballast armor system. The baffled outer hull reduces water retention from damage while acting as a ballast and modifying the floatation when damaged. Allowing this sub to take armor damage but continue to ascend and descend.

ZEUS Discharge Evasion:
The Trade Runner features the ZEUS Evasion system. The ZUES system combines a 3-shot capacity decoy launcher coupled with a massive power discharge coil system. This overpowered discharge coil configuration adds significant drain on the power system but applies greater damage and stun duration allowing the deployment of decoys while the dual drive system allows for quick escape.

The IMC RAKE is a fast attack frigate. While not designed for extended combat, the Rake's agility and impressive firepower allow it to take advantage of positioning in most situations. With a salvage door, stocked medical containers and a functioning cargo bay the Rake can service all types of mission objectives.

With the RAKE's micro size you can easily save it as a shuttle and attach it under a large vessel. This is a fun ship for a quick game or a challenging ship for an experienced crew in deep game.

Luckspeare: Thank you for commenting! This is one of my older designs. Unfortunately not only did the updates move things around. They also changed the power distribution so the secondary reactor cant "takeover" power anymore. There is a lot of updating and wiring to be fixed now.

I will for sure get all my subs updated at some point. The game updates make it pretty tiresome though.

Amazing design, great work. This has had a ton of love poured into it, and it shows. Some things feel a little odd for my taste (such as tiny decon/fab/medfab next to the tiny reactor in the shuttle), but pretty minor objections -- easy enough to remove.

But more importantly, like so many other subs since the 2023 update, a few things have broken. Weirdly, some things seem to be moved weirdly in the new update -- for example, the sonar console in the bridge has been moved like 3-4 feet upward or something, so the status readout text is straddling the bottom of it and the wall. A few more things like that.

If you ever feel like and have time to update it, it could use a bit of update-fixing love to return to being a top-notch sub.

This ship has been updated. Electrical has been rewired and impeller positions have been moved. Expect a 3 second power delay when switching between primary and secondary power systems.

Got it. Sadly the IMC line will have to be retired until the revisions.
