I have not, no.
It is worth mentioning that I only really enjoy playing Bretonnia, which is why I started modding in the first place. Additionally modding is an endeavour that, if done correctly, does take a lot of time... time which I am not actually spending modding anymore as I have the pleasure of working on a game now. This doesn't mean it will never happen though.
Thanks for responding and good luck with the modding!
Part 2
That said... your idea is fine
Somebody else recently requested my men-at-arms longbow with a pox variant so maybe I'll do both in one pack, but we'll see what I end up working on instead. Often its a matter of motivation. I don't want to make a habit of taking requests since I usually spend about 4-8 hours per single-unit mod, mostly because of the unit card, which is why a variant that won't need anymore work than just slapping the pox-arrow icon on is way more tempting.
Also thank you, you are very kind! I'm sorry if this was overly rambely/longwinded, this is a subject I guess I've needed to vent about for well over a year now. Can't believe I started modding back in 2018. Times flies! Oh and, enjoy the mod!
I tend to heed and change my mods based on feedback but I don't really make mods only on request any more as I have no incentive.
I'll explain: Mods that are requested usually get a fair amount less subscribers and up votes than what I actually want to make, and mods often need updating and iteration too, which at this point I have so many mods some get neglected. Requests come from a place of well meaning but at this point (and during these times) I have to ask for compensation, which understandably most wouldn't want to to do and that's totally fine. I get about 4 or 5 requests every week when I'm already spending most of my week just on working on and tweaking my existing mods (and responding to comments too
