I owe some credit to Dragon Empress' guide "How To Date Dem Bois". Their guide helped me fill in some stats I hadn't unlocked yet.
Intro
I got this game half-jokingly, expecting a story-rich visual novel. Instead I got a lame idle game. But it made me chuckle. And then I started having fun analyzing the math.

I like to play visual novels over and over, thoroughly charting out all potential paths. This led me to make a guide for Choice of Robots, which for some reason was well-received. So I'm doing it again.

Hoo boy. Here goes my self-respect.

Best Jobs
Some jobs are worth more than others, and not always in the order they are unlocked.

Here is how much each job (at each level) pays in $ per second.

Go for jobs that turn green fast (Politician). Avoid jobs that stay red even at high levels (Sew Pro, Maid)

Hobby-to-Talk Conversion
The same numbers apply to all hobbies.

The ❤ count is for one "Talk" action. "Talk" appears more effective than buying gifts or dates, and costs nothing.

(Which is weird because when I give boys 100,000 lint rollers IRL, I find it far more effective than using "Talk" on them.)

I haven't measured "Taps" because it's harder to get accurate measurements on those. There's no wait time on them, but they give less ❤.

I've found the fastest way to meet ❤ goals is to level-up that character's hobby to the level with 1/10th the character's current ❤ goal.

HOBBY LEVEL = HEARTS PER TALK
Level 1 = 51❤
Level 2 = 54 ❤
Level 3 = 61❤
Level 4 = 75 ❤
Level 5 = 100 ❤
Level 6 = 141 ❤

How Much Dem Bois Cost to Level Up
Here's a chart of how much it costs to level-up each boi. The cost refers to required gifts and dates.

NOTE:
This chart is logarithmic.

This makes the lines easy to read (in the normal, "linear" mode, it looks like cheap $1 lines that suddenly SPIKE into WALLS OF INCREDIBLE AMOUNTS OF CASH)

Each $ line is worth x10 the last line.
Near the bottom, the gap between two lines is small (like $90).
Near the top, the difference is HUGE (like you'll need $999,000,000 more).

TLDR the higher up you go, the harder a time you're going to have.

What it does do is give you a feel for how much you'll need to earn to have a shot at certain boi-levels.

And gives you a feel for how they change. Nimh and Volks level-up costs rise pretty steadily. I have no idea WTF Dmitri is doing.

I don't see the Farmer in the list above and below, was this introduced later? Probably the most effective job at all in the later stages, so the whole stuff here is a bit outdated...

As MoritzVanNorden posted in the comments it would be interesting to see an updated chart that takes into account the time slots for the jobs.

I made my own version. This is by no means a fully accurate list as most of the tops are still leveling up and aren't the same level. But it still gives a general idea of which jobs are higher performing.

Cryptominer $3,870,000.00 10 $387,000
Fundraiser $4,150,000.00 30 $138,333
Streamer $645,630.00 5 $129,126
Florist $2,040,000.00 21 $97,142
Teacher $70,210.00 1 $70,210
Writer $169,240.00 3 $56,413
Pit Mechanic $204,280.00 7 $29,182
Barista $125,890.00 5 $25,178
Nurse $67,250.00 4 $16,812
Maid $16,140.00 1 $16,140
Politician $161,400.00 20 $8,070
Musician $15,810.00 3 $5,270
Pharmacist $42,690.00 10 $4,269

Re: Anon, I'm Scottish and in Scotland and he reads and sounds like a very overdone Irish to me. I think the voice is what tips it to Irish, since it reads things as 'nae' as 'nah' and 'did nae' as 'did na' (Scottish leans towards saying 'nay' and 'dinnae', though some regions have more of a 'nah' sound).

The Scots-or-Irish slang thrown in isn't a good fit for either language, I suspect. It's pretty random and there's definitely a disconnect between what's written and what's voiced. Let's pretend Anon comes from a BlushBlush universe alternative Celtlandia.

+1 for Anon being Scottish. (Source: I live in Scotland, and he speaks just like the locals.)

Anon is Scottish not Aussie

My numbers aren't matching... And like what Norden mentioned, I don't think your unit of measurement is balanced for far comparison.
MoritzVanNorden 19 Apr, 2021 @ 6:00am
I guess your table of jobs is just $/second as stated, right? I believe there could be a second table to reflect the profit density so $/second/one time block because there are some relatively high paying jobs that as a downside take up silly amount of time blocks. And then there are jobs like Fundraiser which take up enormous amount of time blocks at first but which each level, in addition to a promotion, they require 5 less time blocks, making the job a whole lot more profitable for your time.
