Description
"GOD, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE OPPRESSING CRIMINALS WITH MY GUNS"

The weapons in this pack use 1024x1024 textures to keep it on the smaller side in terms of file size, but if file size doesn't bother you and you want higher res textures, Veehementia has made a Discussion Topic featuring a download link for a high res texture version of the mod.

To install it, take the newly downloaded package file and drop it into Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\2377215692\Content and replace the package in that folder.

For comparison, the high res version of the package is about 130 MBs big, while the main mod is 40 MBs big.


(Note: The Shotgun sounds loud in the preview video, but i turned it down after i recorded it.)

FEATURES:

Various weaponry used by Chimera Squad agents, including:

-The XCS-401 Pistol

-The XCS-402 Assault Rifle

-The XCS-403 Shotgun

-The XCS-404 SMG

All of which have variants for all 3 weapon tiers, and they're upgraded by researching and building the default weapon tier upgrades.

They all come with their original firing sounds.

The Pistol supports Primary Secondaries.

If the guns don't show up mid-campaign, you likely need to start a new campaign. If you wish to use the guns mid-campaign, you can try replacing the Vanilla Weapon's archetypes using either Weapon Skin Replacer or Template Master , both by Iridar.

The Weapon Archetype names in this pack are as follows:

ChimeraFirearms.Archetypes.WP_ChimeraPistol

ChimeraFirearms.Archetypes.WP_ChimeraRifle

ChimeraFirearms.Archetypes.WP_ChimeraShotgun

ChimeraFirearms.Archetypes.WP_ChimeraSMG

Here's an example code block you can stick into your Weapon Skin Replacer config:

The weapon's Template names are ChimeraPistol_XX, ChimeraRifle_XX, ChimeraShotgun_XX, and ChimeraSMG_XX.

Base game weapon templates include: Pistol_XX, AssaultRifle_XX, Shotgun_XX, Cannon_XX, SniperRifle_XX, VektorRifle_XX, Bullpup_XX, and Sidearm_XX.

Replace the XXs with CV, MG, and BM for weapon tiers 1, 2, and 3 respectively.


No, there won't be a Vanilla version of this.

Hey so quick question, I was trying to add a ability to the weapons but I dont seem to be inputting the right term for the weapon category specifically. What are the category names for the chimera weapons?

How do you edit the stats for this mod? The upgrade option isn't updating for me.

Looks really great. But how do I edit the stats? I want to add some mobility and maybe some aim to the SMG at the cost of damage and ammo. I managed to change the dmg and ammo but can't figure out how to add aim and mobility.

Probably, this mod wouldn't have 5 tiers of weapons, only 3 for the base three weapon tiers.
