I agree it still needs more optimization, although it should run smoothly when the finished game is released.

The Valentine's Day update is pretty damn fantastic, really enjoying it so far, before it felt kinda meh and I wasn't sure if it was going to be a good finished product, now I have confidence in it. Performance isn't unplayable, but it's still really unoptimized, though I guess that's expected. Running 2x GTX 980's in SLI with a 4790k and I usually get 30-35 FPS, with the occasionnal lag spike to around 15 fps.

The alpha was mainly released as a treat for Kickstarter backers, like most people who have played it, not for people who have bought it. The game is going into Beta on Valentine's day and has a huge range of improvements. Oh and the game doesn't run that badly for me.

simp,e best guid you can get is A wiat for game to be finished and optimised , or B use a time machine to go 4years into teh future and buy a super hotroded and overclocked PC from that time , then come back the present and try to play the game. .... Seriously though do we really need a guide for a game that is still alpha and barely runs ok on some of the most high end hardware ?

I interpreted it as this:
1. Bash opponents.
2. Use funds to repair when bashed.
3. ???
4. Win races.
