Phaeton Class Corvette

The Phaeton is a corvette with the price tag of a frigate. I wasn't planning on posting this ship, but have decided to do so to act as an update on what is going on with possibly creating a battleship. The Phaeton itself is a midsized trimaran armed with 8 large missiles, a frontal railgun, two large torpedoes, and a massive CIWS/aa. It's also equipped with two of my second generation support helis.

The Phaeton is a mid-hard difficulty ship with pretty standard defenses in all regards. It lacks in a lams though and has no laser defense besides smoke. The Phaeton activates a hyrdofoil system in battle to achieve decent speeds to help avoid projectiles and get the CIWS in a better firing position.

To conclude the section on the Phaeton, I have to thank Requiem for the awesome HP railgun on the front of the craft. As always, any critique, criticism, or comments are appreciated, I hope you all enjoy the ship!


Battleship discussion:
I've been asked by several people to build a battleship. I've been planning this out for quite some time and have came to the conclusion that an Iowa/Montana inspired ship is the way to go. I have one more ship in line before the battleship (coincidentally also a Trimaran), so I thought I'd try to get some comments or ideas from people before undertaking this long term project.
