Basics/tips
Nimble Quest mixes the classic Snake game and Ys with its auto-attack system.
* Keep leader alive. Hitting an enemy or wall or running out of HP means losing.
* only the leader gains experience from kills made by the entire crew in current attempt.
* Don't waste gems on improving heroes you are good at playing as.
** Use your gems on boosting your power-ups and those heroes you don't like playing as.
** Use your tokens wisely, and don't spend gems on tokens unless everything else is maxed.
** Don't buy heroes with tokens, only skips - and only if a level is harder than previous AND next.
* Don't waste tokens on retries, each retry within same attempt costs more tokens.
* don't risk it for powerups next to walls... unless that powerup is a shield!
* Swiftness boost is best left OFF, especially for new players.
Leader choice
Best starting heroes are Ulrich and Blaze. Bones, after you get him, is a bit better than Ulrich.
As the game goes through two "laps" (you return to Forest after Depths), it's recommended to play Gizmo throughout the first lap. Best hero for second lap is probably Slash, but he's VERY reliant on being in a bubble.
Orc is pretty useless, as is the necromancer.
Heroes that aren't as good to play (archer, pirate, spearman, blue mage, forest spirit, etc) should be leveled through gems (as mentioned above).
