I'm pretty sure it should be compatible with 1.6 as is. As for update - it will be done after 1.6 release.

@DiademDracon It should be compatible with all implants and mods. But if you'll find incompatible mod - just post about it here and I'll add support for it.

Does this apply to all implants or just supported mods? If so, what mods are supported?
