Darker Nights

Description
This mod darkens the nights by 75%.
In addition to that it removes the glow of the atmosphere on most planets, so that the sky is black at night.
You can still see where to go at night, but monsters should have an easier time ambushing you.

Midnight planets got treated differently. Days are now darker as well.

Technical Information:

Modifies the skyOptions of nearly all biome files in the surface folder.

Compatible with FU, but doesn't affect its planets.

After you've subscribed to this mod, you will have to travel a screen's length of star systems away before you will see any changes.

Background:

I was unhappy with how bright the default nights are in this game. So I've made them darker and removed the glow of the atmosphere during night on most planets.

An additional inspiration for this mod was "Black as Night" by NexusTheBrony.

I second Mr. Thiccums.
Overgrown planets, Beautiful Skies, etc. Would be great if they all could be darker...

I really love this mod! I just really wish there was a version that made the changes apply to modded planets as well.

if there were a mod that made the darkness act like 'Dont Starve Together' Darkness killing you if you stay in the dark to long. that would be a great combo to this.

@Schrotflinite Well I was playing Starbound not too long ago, and it turned to night on a few planets. It didn't seem too dark but then again I haven't played with normal nights really to compare. If you don't hear from me again I have compared my game to one without the mod and found out there wasn't any interference.

@xpali2 The mod in question states that it is not compatible with mods, which change weather effects, which my mod does not edit. Try to play with both of them and see if they work. In theory, everything should be fine. If not, please come back and share the result with us.

Does this mod interfere with atmospheres plus?

I love this mod also. Great to have actually dangerous nights.
Might I request this be patched with various mods that add planets, such as Wintery Jungle, Overgrown Worlds, and Grasslands worlds?
