Popis
GM_Gunrange (In-game called gm_gunrange) is my first mapping project I've finished and actually released to the public. The map is quite simple. It features an indoor and an outdoor shooting range. The indoor now has adjustable targets. They were a pain to set up and they're a bit buggy, but anything is nice. The outdoor features a few targets of varying types. The map SHOULD feature HDR (I specifically made it to have HDR allthough GMOD may not accept CS:S style HDR.)


Features!:
Indoor range.
Outdoor range.
HDR! (May not be working at this time but should work.)
A Map icon! (For some reason no one seems to include them now-a-days...)
Adjustable indoor range targets! (Not shown in photos because I just added them.)

GUIDE TO TARGETS INDOORS:
Top button moves target closer. (DO NOT PRESS IF TARGET IS AT THE SHOOTER END! Slight issue that needs to be fixed.)
Middle button ALWAYS stops the target where it is.
Buttom button moves the target farther away. (DO NOT PRESS IF TARGET IS AT THE END OF THE HALLWAY. Again, same issue as before. Probably will be fixed later.)

REQUIRES COUNTERSTRIKE SOURCE!

DO NOT comment with issues. To talk about an issue, start a discussion. That way, I'm 101 times more likely to see it.

Known issues:
Target buttons reverse and do weird things if you try to get them to continue after they hit the end of either side of the rail.

Notes:
Do not comment with the spooky skeleton or other silly copy pasta replies. If you do I will frown at you violently but probably not do more than that.

Yes I know about the map with almost the exact same name as mine uploaded a bit earlier. I had no intention of that happening.

is it just me or do games running on the source engine have CRAZY creepy lighting? thats why I HATE garry's mod maps without nice lights. just aint bright enough sometimes. Your maps are epic though.

Tip for all users of this map!
If you have wiremod installed, spawn a damage detector at the bullseye of each target (or whatever you want credit for hitting) and spawn a single-value screen above each target, now get the wire advanced tool and wire the screen (A) to the Damage output on the screen, do this for each target and you'll have a set of targets that show the damage done to them in HP!
Note: I don't know if this works with grenade launchers, prop launchers, crossbows or meelee weapons, all firearms that simply fire bullets should work fine though, especially the weapons using non-custom ammo.

#1. It's a pain making a custom texture for everything, imagine painting a photorealistic grass texture for a map when there's an even better one that already exists and it wayyyy better? wouldn't you use that as well?
#2. I can promise you he has HL2 textures as well in this map, but HL2 doesn't always include all the textures you need for a map to look good.
#3. I'm feeling nice today, so i'm going to give you a tip. Download the Css content for Gmod at www.cscheater.era.ee for free, it's legal (only content, no .exe file) and free. (Ps. download via MEGA)

Whats with map makers and not using hl2 or custom made textures for maps.

You would have 5 stars if you did so.
