Resource Flow Chart v0.4.0 (Game Version: v0.9.0.16)
It's over! It's done! *insert Frodo in Mordor meme*

I did not count the hours, but many evenings of the last three month have been used to bring this behemoth of a flow chart up to date. I hope that with the official release now in sight, that future updated will be mainly small fixes. The problem with handmade charts is of course that just one new block can tear the whole layout apart. So here it is - and man, it got a lot bigger in pixel size:

Original Size, (PNG, 5039x7068px)[ibb.co]

Again, if you see errors or have suggestions for making it better - don't hesitate to tell me in the comments. I will collect the information and that update the chart when v1.0 has been established.

Changelist v0.4.0 / 07.06.2024:
* added new section "Waste Processing" with many new industries and materials
* added the "waste segment" to each industry that shows how much and what type of waste is produced and where it can be stored internally
* added new industries: Explosives factory, Fertilizer factories and Vehicle repair stations
* added new variants of existing industries: Big gravel quarry, Small gravel processing plant, Large cement plant, Large chemical plant
* added new buildings of the categories Pub/tavern, Hotels, Food & Shopping
* added Prisons and Orphanages
* added Ukraine DLC idustries and buildings
* remade the whole legend and extended explanations
* added footnotes instead of "in-chart-texts"
* fixed many errors from v0.3.0 like wrong values, missing symbols etc.
* many other minor changes in layout/design

Things that maybe added in the future:
* which technology has to researched to unlock certain industries
* the missing picutres of some industries (please tell me where I can get them, I mostly search the game folder or wikis on the internet)
* waste composition (which waste consists of which "sub-waste")
* extend the ledgend with abbreviations that are used in the chart
* more information about container related stuff

Things that will mostly not be added in the future:
* add all buildings that require fuel (there are just too many)
* add construction office buildings and their storage capacities
* add construction costs for each building (has nothing to do with resource flow)

Resource Flow Chart v0.3.0 (Game Version: v0.8.8.x)
It has been quite a long time since the last update but I finally found the time to include the past updates "Crime & Justice" and "Water & Sewage" which had a certain impact on the existing Flow Chart. So here it is:

Original Size, (PNG, 3326x4702px)[ibb.co]

Since this is a huge amount of information I'm almost sure that there are some minor issues left: maybe a wrong amount of building connections or the values for storage or production are not correct. If you find something, please tell me and I will make a quick update in a few weeks. Also if you think there is any kind of information missing, don't hesitate to write a comment and I will consider adding it to the chart.

Changelist v0.3.0 / 11.10.2022:
* added Environment pollution
* added water (as a resource needed for production)
* added Orphanage and Prison
* added small/medium/large farm and removed the old Agro-Farm
* changed all power values to "max. wattage (circuit breaker)
* improved the legend (especially the Storage Options)
* increased symbol size for building connections
* increased font size for several captions
* rearranged some buildings in the chart and fixed some minor graphic issues
* adjusted some values that have changed during the last game updates

Things that maybe will added in the future
* add all buildings that require fuel (only maybe, there are >25 of them)
* add buildings from the Ukraine DLC
* add construction office buildings and their storage capacities
* add construction costs for each building

Ressource Flow Chart v0.2 (Game Version: v0.8.4.24)
Hello comrades! I updated the Flow Chart to the current game version v.0.8.4.x and fixed some issus from the initial version v0.1. I also added some minor tweaks. Please enjoy:

Original Size, (PNG, 2377x2735px)[ibb.co]

Changelist v0.2:
* added Gas Power Plant and Heating Plants
* added Solar/Wind Power Plants (let's say the consume wind and solar energy :-)
* added high education workers when needed for a building
* added storage types for each resource
* added "parking spots for loading/unloading" and "parking spots for vehicles" provided by the buildings
* changed "Max power consumption (MWh)" to "Max Wattage (KW)"
* some minor fixes

Things that still have to be done
* add ship/plane buildings that require fuel
* add construction office buildings and their storage capacities
* maybe add some indicator of the pollution output of each building

Ressource Flow Chart v0.1 (Game Version: v0.8.3.25)
+++ first time publishing here; original size is stored externally to see all details +++

Original Size, (PNG, 2413x2774px)[ibb.co]

The following minor issues are known and will hopefully be taken care of soon:
* missing storage sizes on buildings that don't show that value in the in-Game UI
* dock/harbour buildings that require fuel are missing
* the max. power consumption values may vary since there are several values in the in-Game UI ("comsumption at maximum production" vs. "max. power consuption (day)")

Suggestions and point-out to errors are welcome as well as a hint on how to store files inside the Steam environment to avoid saving files at external image hosters :-)

Enjoy the Flow Chart. Kudos to the developers for this masterpiece of a simulation. Can't wait for more content!

@Thimorin: Not in the pipeline yet. The biggest problem: Early Start DLC and the Base Game introduced a lot of new industriy buildings. It is simply not possible to include all in the chart.
I will have to find a method to include "small something", "big something", "small old something" and "big old something" in the 2D chart. Or completely redesign the industry boxes and somehow fill all "somethings" in one box.

Any update in the pipline?

This is a great chart. I love it. I just have a one (funny) note - costs of manufacturing electronic components and electronics are not fixed but variable throughout years. From 1960 to 2037/2060 production costs are constantly rising and output (production) is going down. In the end (2060+) is electronics cost about 1276 % of the values in 1960 :D

This chart is awesome but it doesn't show that you can also burn hazardous waste in the incinerator

@Fry3k,
You are our hero :-) I reall apreciate your input

Great work, thank you!
I have to point out that in the second footnote box there is a reference to note 13, which does not exist anywhere. I presume it should point to 23 (being a leftover of a possible renumbering of the waste management related notes)

Well damn, this is going to be a lot bigger then expected but I am making progress. Here es a small teaser that I am actually doing anything ;-)

@Mudkest: that is somehow the plan; maybe I did not described it good enough

Or maybe add only garbage capacity and what type it produces to each building, and the garbage handling buildings in another part of the chart without arrows of what trash goes where?

that way you can still show that construction waste thingie makes gravel without having to get arrows back from anything that uses gravel as construction waste.
