At Fault Collision

Description
Tired of having drunk Andromedans crashing their spaceships into your space stations and dumping all the blame on you?

Well the law offices of Scott B. Freely have got you covered!

If they're flying faster than you, then we get you off, scott free! No more faction hits for sitting around minding your business. No faction hits when someone crashes into your space station!

... but remember, you owe us a favor.

======================================================

No longer lose faction for collisions if it's not your fault!

Vanilla behavior is that when there's a collision, both the crasher and crashee take faction hits. This removes the faction loss from whomever is moving more slowly.

Since space stations don't usually move, NPC ships will no longer cause you to lose faction when they bump into your stations. Note that if you do somehow manage to move your station around at high speed, you'll be at fault for any collisions.

I love and hate this mod XD I build my ships in a way that they fling across the zones, so when In control, I can't stop XD(my fault, No pun intended)

Could you update this?

Here, have more upvotes; it took me a year and a half to find this.

This sounds like a simple if-clause that should be part of the base game. :moralefist:
The only thing it leaves wanting is to make them pay for the damage, and maybe an email apologising for the stuff they broke off, so you don't come back wondering where half your station went :)

I just checked and it is working fine. I've updated the version number so Avorion doesn't think it's out of date.
