Description

Contracts System Overhaul

I've completely overhauled the shadowy dealings contracts system to provide more diverse and interesting rewards while also being more punishing if you go into negative reputation. Each clan now gives bonuses that are thematically relevant and are no longer just a simple recruitment cost reduction. Each faction now gives a powerful unique bonus at max reputation.

NOTE
Please note that the bonuses and their values are subject to change and may not reflect the ones shown in the images. Please check the patch notes for the most up to date info.

Greater Clan Contracts
Now after each Council meeting each of the four greater clans will approach Eshin with a new short term contract. This is to give the player a more consistent method of leveling up their desired clans. No more praying to RNGesus that you get a contract you want.

Contract Tiers
Contract tier thresholds are the same but your reputation with each clan will affect the likely hood you get a higher tier contract from them. At max reputation you are more likely to get a Tier 3 contract than a Tier 1 contract.

Contract Awards
Contracts now reward the agent completing it with varying amounts of experience depending on the contract tier. Tier 3 contracts provide a larger bonus than tier 1 contracts.

Completing contracts now reduces the turn timer for schemes to replenish. Tier 1 contracts take one turn off the timer, Tier 2 contracts take 2 turns, and Tier 3 reward the player with a new scheme if they have space available.

Clan Rewards
Clan Mors
Clan Mors provides the rank and file soldiers and guards to assist with keeping Skaven colonies in line. Their excellence in battle boosts morale and access to their armories allows the outfitting of new armor and weapons.
  • Affects Public Order
  • Affects Leadership
  • Better Armor and Weapons
  • Upgraded Menace Below Ability

Clan Moulder
Clan Moulder's mutated horrors are not only effective on the battlefield but make light work of heavy construction work. They can also provide their mutated offspring and rejects to those who serve them well.
  • Affects construction costs
  • Provides bonuses to Moulder units
  • Provides mutated units
  • Thicker skin for characters

Clan Pestilens
Clan Pestilens provides resources for food and growth, or rather doesn't cause most of it to rot and decay. They can provide deadly, vile poisons in abundance. An extremely useful tool for deadly assassins.
  • Affects food upkeep
  • Affects growth of provinces
  • Provides plague immunity
  • Poisoned blades for melee infantry
  • Toxic attacks for Gutter Runner and Slingers

Clan Skryre
Masters of sorcery Skryre boost the magical capabilities of Eshin Sorcerers. They're unique knowledge allows rapid spell-casting. Leftover equipment can be used to outfit and augment Eshin troops.
  • Affects Winds of Magic
  • Affects Cooldown of Lore of Stealth spells
  • Provides increased research rates
  • Allows recruitment of upgraded Eshin Triad units

My Other Mods
FTS - VFX
FTS - Snikch Retexture
FTS - Tz'arkan Trait for Mortal Empires
FTS - Unit Pack

Compatibility
Requires a new game to work properly. Not compatible with anything that edits the Eshin contracts script or the Eshin Shadowy Dealings script. Load before community bug fix otherwise it will break.

WARNING THIS WILL BREAK THROTS FLESH LAB
There seems to be some issue where adding new purchasable effects to units breaks throts flesh lab, I've tried a number of things to get around it but haven't been successful. It may require re-writing parts of throts script which is just going to cause other issues. For now do not install this mod if you are not going to be playing as Eshin.

Credits
Massive thanks to Vandy and PJ for their expertise in scripting. Thanks to Xenon for the upgraded Triads idea. And thank you to everyone who provided feedback and answered any questions I had.

Hey, this is a nice mod and I'm stillusing it in my Snikch Vortex Campaign =)

I have 2 issues/questions tho:

1. Any chance you could do an SFO Compatability Mod for the Upgraded Eshin Triads?
2. At some point CA changed it so that Friendly-Fire doesn't include negative On-Hit Effects anymore (so you arent poisoning your own units) - this soemhow doesnt seem t owork with the "Toxic!" imbued attacks from the Clan Pest Bonus, making it a double edged sword and something to avoid

the poisoned blades bonus doesn't apply to shadow vermin and also the upgraded eshin triads don't shoot for me for some reason

can i use the unit pack (not this) as clan moulder?

I messed about and found a solution. Your fts_triad.frg is missing 'FIRE_LEVEL' and 'RELOAD01_LEVEL' slots. Coping them over from the halberd_and_doomrocket.frg works like a charm.

Hey, loving the mod series it really rescues the eshin camp experience. 1 Bug report thou: the upgraded triads don't fire their ranged weapons. Probably an update messed up their animations.

Love the mod. Is it possible for you to make the Stormvermin menace below a separate mod for all skaven faction

This is a known bug and I've already put a warning in the description...

No this mod doesn't touch any units or the recruitment cost reductions
