Vision Class SSN

The Vision is a tiny submarine with decent defense and offensive capabilities for its size. This sub is built to be small, compact and fast. It can easily intercept slower targets and deal solid damage against unsuspecting targets.

The Vision is armed with 4 frontal long medium torpedoes, 6 large missiles and 6 short medium torpedoes.

For defense it is equipped with an ECM, sonar decoys and interceptors. It also has decent armoring on the ammo and AI compartment. The sub has a really good underwater top speed as well and can outrun some torpedoes.

For detection the sub utilizes passive sonar and radar/sonar buoys along with a wireless snooper.

Some built in weaknesses is the front ammo compartment being mounted higher in the hull, the central steam engine being the only form of propulsion and weaker armoring on the large missiles. The Vision can easily be overwhelmed by larger crafts and shouldn't cause any trouble to a ship with strong decoys.

You can easily up the speed using steam jets, although the running cost was too high to be practical for me.
