Fallen Stars

Description
"Fallen Stars" adds two hostile factions that raid the lightly defended worlds of the rim. Pirates from the stars, and their descendants, these savage raiders revel in chaos and destruction.

This mod adds:

New faction; Savage Fallen Star Tribes, savage tribals relatively recently landed from the stars. They still use a few working high tech weapons and equipment, but have torn their ships apart for scrap and to fashion weapons. They cannot be allied with.

New faction; Starbarians, recently landed barbarians from space. Well armed and armored, they cannot be allied with.

@soviettombombadil you can offer it to them if you like. I haven't because my coding is...amateurish, which made updating the defs for 1.4 a bit of a pain.

Pass this along to Mlie if you don't plan to update it. I loved this mod for my playthroughs.

@thailyn ...shit. I haven't updated in a while, looks like i'll have to do something about that. I had kinda intended at one point to make it so you could ally with the fallen star tribes, but didn't go through with making them any traders or caravans and simply left them in not permanent enemy so you could potentially make them not hostile, it would only result in not getting raided. Looks like it makes them not spawn now, i'l see what i can do soon.

When using this mod, I get a message in the log saying

"FactionDef Fallen_Star_Tribe must have at least one pawnGroupMaker with kindDef 'Peaceful', or 'permanentEnemy', 'isPlayer' or 'hidden' should be set to true. Otherwise no guests from this faction will arrive. This is a misconfiguration in Fallen Stars."

I see in the factiondefs_fallenstars.xml file the Fallen_Star_Tribe faction has "<permanentEnemy>false</permanentEnemy>". Based on the description of the mod, it sounds like this faction should be just as much a permanent enemy as the Starbarian faction.

Would you be able to resolve this based on how you envision these factions? Something like either updating the Fallen_Star_Tribe faction to be a permanent enemy, or adding a peaceful pawn group? Thanks!
