1.1 Twitch Connection and Publicity - Campaign
  • How to connect Twitch
    In the Map menu(default hotkey M), go to the TWITCH section, and connect a channel to the game.
    The Twitch channel you connect to has to be live.
    The username is in the Twitch channel's URL. E.g if the channel URL is https://www.twitch.tv/abc, then username will be 'abc'.
    You can just connect a random channel to your game, if nobody votes in chat the game will just select a random vote.

  • How to have multiple Twitch Channels connected to one lobby
    If Host has a Twitch enabled lobby, all the channels that Clients connect to their TWITCH section (see How to connect Twitch part) are also connected in this lobby. Viewers in all these connected channels can vote simultaneously in their corresponding chat, and all affecting the vote result.

  • How to tell you are in a twitch-enabled lobby
    • In a twitch-enabled lobby, when a vote started, as a client, you can see the twitch icon at the top right corner.
    • In a twitch-enabled lobby, you can see the twitch icon at the bottom right corner.
      - The connected icon means you are in a twitch-enabled lobby and you connect a twitch channel yourself too.
      - The disconnected icon means you are in a twitch-enabled lobby but you didn't connect a twitch channel yourself.
































  • Publicity of Twitch lobby
    • Twitch-enabled lobby cannot change its publicity in the middle of the game. The check box of Private Game is always greyed out. Choose different modes for different publicity.
    • In the Map menu(default hotkey M):
      - Quick Play/Custom Game/Weekly Event twitch mode can only be Public(inside red rectangle).
      - Twitch/Heroic Deed twitch mode can only be Private(inside green rectangle).
    • Weave Quickplay/Ranked Weaves/Fortunes of War does not support twitch.

  • Publicity of Twitch lobby
    Currently, Chaos Waste Twitch lobby can only be private.
2.1 In-game Twitch Settings and change them in-game
Find in-game Twitch Settings
Twitch settings are in Option - Gameplay, scroll to the bottom, under Twitch.
Effect of each setting:
  • Vote Time Limit
    Time for the viewer to vote. From the moment the vote shows up to the moment the vote kicks in.
  • Time Between Votes
    The time gap between the current vote kick in & the next vote shows up.
  • Spawn Size
    Affect Enemy Spawn type of votes. If 100% spawns 4 enemies, 150% will spawn 6 and 200% spawn 8. Digits are rounded down.
  • Blessings
    Decide what kind of Buffs you can get. 'Enable Blessings' will enable all Blessings. 'Disables Item Blessings' will prevent all Item Spawn vote. 'Disable All Blessings' will disable all Positive Buffs and Item Spawn votes.
  • Disable Weekly Events
    Turn this option 'On' will disable the Weekly Events vote. Turn this option 'Off' will enable the Weekly Events vote.
  • Weekly Event Vote Effect Duration
    Affect the duration of Weekly Event vote. If 100% last 60 sec, 150% will last 90 sec and 200% las 180 sec. Digits are rounded down.

*All changes to these settings will be activated in real time. You can change them in the middle of the game. No need to go back to the keep.
2.2 Change Twitch Settings in user_settings.config
In order to change values by editing user_settings.config, you have to completely close the game.

Find Twitch Settings in user_settings.config
You can find user_settings.config in %appdata%\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs(copy past this in search bar).
In the user_settings.config, you can find correspond lines to adjust twitch settings.
Effect of each setting:
  • twitch_difficulty
    No correspond setting. Effect unknown.

  • twitch_disable_mutators
    Correspond to Disable Weekly Event option in-game.
    Can be set to True or False.

  • twitch_disable_postive_votes
    Correspond to Blessings option in-game.
    Can be set to:
    • disable_giving_item (Disable Iteam Blessings)
    • disable_positive_votes (Disable All Blessings)
    • enable_positive_votes (Enable Blessings)

  • twitch_mutator_duration
    Correspond to Weekly Event Vote Duration option in-game.
    Can be set to a positive number. 1= 100%, 2 = 200%.
    The result mutator duration would be rounded down.
    E.g with twitch_mutator_duration = 1.77, Act on Instinct will last 106 sec instead of
    106.2 sec.

  • twitch_spawn_amount
    Correspond to Spawn Size option in-game.
    Can be set to a positive number. 1= 100%, 2 = 200%.
    The result enemy spawn amount would be rounded down.
    E.g with twitch_mutator_duration = 1.99, Gunline vote on Legend/Cataclysm will
    spawn 7 Ratline Gunner, and Writhing Horror vote on Legend/Cataclysm will spawn 1
    Chaos Spawn.

  • twitch_time_between_votes
    Correspond to Time Between Votes option in-game.
    Can be set to a positive integer or 0. Unit is second.

  • twitch_vote_time
    Correspond to Vote Time limit option in-game.
    Can be set to a positive integer or 0. Unit is second.

Maybe because it's twin. Under twin modifier loot rat split into two rat ogres.

I got shot at by teammates because I shot a loot rat during the twitch mode. Can someone explain why they all got pissed?

How do you set spawn sizes to say 199% or 299%. I have seen this and heard there is a file that can be modified?

It would unsuitable to put little bugs like this in this guide. There are tons of them out there. And btw it works on all mag weapons.

Might want to add that (at least last time I checked) the MwPistol is still bugged with Guns Blazing, and if you only had one shot left and land a headshot with the Conservative Shooter trait, you get stuck in a looping reload animation until the buff is gone.
