Description
SITUATION

For the last several months we have been dealing with constant ambushes and interruptions in the traffic of vehicles in a MSR located in the Southern Malden region caused by the actions of an insurgent cell operating out of a village called Sainte-Marie, recently we received intel that a convoy of military supplies using civilian covered offroad trucks as disguise has arrived at the village and that a large number of insurgents have assembled in the area, likely in preparation for some big action.

Realizing the opportunity, High Command has devised the Operation GUIDING HAND, using the extensive NATO counter-insurgency experience as base a selected number of NATO leaders will provide guidance and assistance to an AAF mechanized task force that will conduct a cordon and sweep operation in the village in order to deal a finishing blow to the insurgent forces in the region.



SINGLE PLAYER SUPPORT

  • Although the mission is primarily intended for multiplayer, single player is also fully supported, you will take the role of a Platoon Leader commanding a mechanized task force.

  • You can press the "U" key in order to be able to control the different characters in the mission and micromanage their movements and positioning, think large scale classic 'Ghost Recon'.

  • Press "SPACE+CTRL" to access the HIGH COMMAND mode and give orders to the sub-units in your platoon.

  • Recommended mod to use to improve AI control:
    PLATOON LEADER: HIGH COMMAND

Ok, Thanks; playing single player but the U "jump" works only if I add virtual Arsenal as a mod.

If you are playing in multiplayer, one player can be the CO and stay at the Command Post coordinating the action.

In case you are playing single player, you can use team switch (hint: press 'U') to jump between the different team leaders or use the High Command mode (hint: press 'CTRL+SPACEBAR') to give orders to the different squads.
