Introduction
Welcome to my guide about the newly introduced units in King's Bounty: Warrior of the North DLC Fire and Ice. This guide should serve as a collection of information for all of you who would like to know, what you can expect from the DLC, what enemies you are going to run into and what units you may possibly pick up.

Please note, that this guide is a work in progress and any contributers are welcome. I started with the first three units, more will come later. If you happen to get a screenshot of a unit I didn't cover yet, please feel free to tell / send me so that I can update the information. Also, if you have any additions, corrections or grammar issues for in this guide existing troops, feel free to tell me as well, so as to have the most accurate data.

If you have suggestions on how to improve the way of communicating the unit's strengths/weaknesses, please leave me a comment. What I'm thinking about at the moment is add every ability with ingame description...

I don't quite know how contributors work here on steam... It would be great if they could as well upload content and so on. If anybody knows, please feel free to tell me about it ;)
New Units
Gorgons
The Gorgons are a Beholder type unit. They are classified as shooters which makes them be affected by spells like Greasy Mist or Precision. Their damage is magical, which makes them excel at fighting boned or phantom enemies in comparison to shooters with a bow. They lack efficiency against magically immune enemies like ice creations or gremlin towers. Their attacks have a chance of turning the struck enemy to stone for two turns, which makes them unable to move or use abilities and increases all resistances by 40%. The lower the level of the enemy, the higher the chance of the effect to take place.

Their first skill conjures any sort of snake troops with a leadership of [MIN - MAX] with a reload of 3 turns. The second skill imposes up to 3 negative effects (slow, defenselessness and weakness) for two turns on enemies which are not immune to mind spells and effects.

All in all they make a good summoner troop, an able fighter and most importantly an excellent control unit.

Their average damage is 14.97 and their damage/leadership ratio is 6.24%

Contemplator
Contemplators are a Beholder type unit. They are classified as shooters which makes them being affected by spells like Greasy Mist or Precision. Their damage is magical, which makes them excel at fighting boned or phantom enemies in comparison to shooters with a bow. They lack efficiency against magically immune enemies like ice creations or gremlin towers. Contemplators use energy to boost their skills. They receive 20-30 energy per turn and start with 50 of a 100 maximum.

Their first skill damages all enemies up to 3 cells away from the Contemplator with magic damage. If the skill is powered with [AMOUNT] energy, the damage is increased by 50% and troops of level [MIN - MAX] are pushed away from the caster. The skill has a reload time of [#TURNS].

The second skill enters a trance, which doubles health and attack for two turns. If the skill is powered with 85 energy, the Contemplators counter every melee attack and it's attack have a 60% chance of putting the damaged creature under the player's command for one turn, as long as the unit is not resistant to mind spells and effects and is level 1-4. This skill has a reload time of [#TURNS].

The third skill shoots a ray of fire in a straight line which damages anything in it's path (including allies). If powered with [AMOUNT] energy, the damage is increased by 50%. The targets have a [PERCENTAGE] chance to be set on fire during a successful attack. This skill has a reload time of [#TURNS].

All in all they make excellent shooters.

Their average damage (without skills) is 15.82 and their damage/leadership ratio is 5.86%

Evil Eye
Evil Eyes are a Beholder type unit. They can strike an enemy at any range without penalty with lightning damage. All of their attacks leech life, reanimating dead units. They are undead which grants them the well known persistance of mind, resistance to poison and other related abilities.

The first skill damages an enemy troop for [MIN - MAX] damage and 50% of that to surrounding troops. The skill has a cooldown of 3 turns.

The second skill is geysir, that damages 3 enemies picked randomly for [MIN - MAX] damage. THe skill has a cooldown of 4 turns.

The third skill conjures a troop of Book of Nightmares with leadership of [MIN - MAX], which can use level 2 spells on the enemy. Evil Eyes have two charges of this spell.

It's a kinda ODD to read about the creatures, I've created, but I do love all of them!
