As time passed, the mist around Uí Bhreasail disappeared for a short time, however nobody could enter the mysterious islands. The Wizard made sure that nobody could enter, however he has become lazy. The mist has started to disappear more and more frequently, and without a major plan or change, the humans would find the islands of Rabbits.

Also, the word Ui Bhreasail literally just means O'Brassil (the surname of many Brassils), it isn't the Irish translation of Hy-Brasil. To be honest I have no idea what the actual Irish word for the Island is but anyway
