Part Seven: The Great Attractor

From afar, you watch the storm roll across the plains. Atrox has escaped, of course. None can follow. Its pilot is the best you had ever witnessed. 'Tis truly amazing how far the Heart has evolved since you first happened upon its ruin, buried deep in a heap of tetanus. Many months of trial and piecemeal you had spent cleaning, blasting, scavenging, tuning, until at last your magnum opus was complete. When you found a proper pilot, snake though he was, you set loose the Heart that would grant you treasure in perpetuity. Its transplant, from your old Hemi Cuda Reef Hunter to the pilot's Roadrunner, has kept it armored. Its filtration system has kept its pilot alive, another of your strokes of genius. The pilot, with the assistance of his late prick partner, has calibrated and tweaked it and its mighty Heart to succulent perfection.

None can follow. In Atrox's wake, you have swept up your riches across the Rot, and Mani-fest is the Sweeper's apogee.

Your chest itches underneath your white hazmat suit. Least-ways, in conjunction with Whitewing's filtration units, the suit keeps you cool, dry, and breathing. Mayhap you can rebuild the Heart of KALA, and hunt for another pilot that will restore her dignity and serve you well. Mayhap you can build a franchise.

You patiently wait in Whitewing's cab. Through your telescope, you spy across the great plain. The king carries his limp queen to YAMA. Her KALA is blown out, billowing flame and smoke. The armed scouts stand guard, scanning the horizons. Ahh, and there is Kodiak. What a pleasure it was to build, regardless of its current occupiers. Gangsters' ill-gotten articles are as fruitful as an honest well-dweller's. Fluck 'em. In his stead, the king stations a scout team close to KALA, as he and his corpse-cunny speed away to fetch a wrecker from high in his mountain. You whisper a small adieu to Kodiak and the scouts piloting it. Unbeknownst to those wretched gangsters and their escort, they've escaped their demise.

The king will have returned by dawn, yet when he arrives, he will find only a shell of KALA. You press the hazard button on your console. Your drones alight, guided by your telescope, locked on and quickly approaching each of their targets. You switch a dial on your scope's optical tube, activating the execution order. The drones open fire. The scouts are pummeled to the ground and blown apart, eviscerated and dismembered to death by the force of the drones' hollow-point slugs. Such a calm and swift execution; remote and silent, miles away. The drones hover, keeping watch, awaiting your arrival. You rack your scope and creep across the deadpan. Best you scavenge while you can, and retrieve her flaming Heart, before you become death yourself.

Our only escape from this planet is death. After all, that is our universal forte, is it not? All become death. All will be forgotten. Time and Space care not, regardless of title. All are bound to Laniakea, that Great Neuron in the Void. That is our final subatomic destination. O let us then scavenge and scrape across the Rot until our extinction!

You extinguish the engine's flames and eat your last can of kidney beans whilst the charred machine cools. It's high time you return northward to your humble abode. As you depart, the Heart of KALA strapped down and neatly secured in Whitewing's bed, you smile in dreamy contemplation about what infamous carriage your Hellcat Hemi might next possess. Your daydreams escort you onward toward your Beartooth base. Another blackened Heart will again beat anew.

1. Subscribe

2. Navigate to ...Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\645630\2458489339

3. Copy the bodyconfig4.txt and config4.txt files.

4. Navigate to ...Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018\cms2018_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars\FordF350SuperDuty

5. Paste the two config files here. Configs must be named in numerical order! (Remember to rename these configs, only if you have multiple files, or just a single file, with the appropriate number, in accordance with your config files' numerical order.)
