Introduction
Hi there! Welcome to this short guide on how to use the slabs, boards and content that other players have uploaded to Talespire or the slab sharing sites https://talesbazaar.com/ and https://talestavern.com/.
In-Game
To access the in-game method for browsing shared content, open the build library as normal and then click the "Community Content" option highlighted below.

You can then choose to browse different type of community content using new options on the left. These are (from top to bottom) Creatures, Slabs and Symbiotes as well as viewing subscribed content and any community content used in the current board that you aren't currently subscribed to.

Creatures: These are custom creatures/models that have been uploaded by the community that you can include in your boards. To use one, simply click the creature you would like to use. It will take a few moments to download and then, when the download is finished, simply click it again to be able to place the creature. (Note: some models are NSFW).

Slabs: These are pre-assembled groups of items and to use them simply click the one you would like to use and you can place it on your board.

Symbiotes: If you haven't come across symbiotes before, these are a way of adding in additional features that the modding community have created. Everything from character sheets, dice rollers, hand-out notes, and more. When hovering over each symbiote in the menu you'll be given a short description of what it does. This hover pop-up will also include a button to "view in web browser" which can be very useful for getting more information about the symbiote and how it works. To use one simply click to subscribe. You'll also need to enable symbiotes in the settings menu. For more information on enabling symbiotes Bouncyrock have a short guide here https://symbiote-docs.talespire.com/user_docs.html

Content Subscriptions: Here you can browse all of the content you have subscribed to allowing for easy access to place objects in your boards or unsubscribe from content.

Missing Content: If you are in a board that is using community content that you haven't subscribed to, this will list what you are missing allowing you to easily subscribe.
Slabs
A "Slab" can be shared on the two websites mentioned above. "Slabs" are essentially a collection of assets and props that you can select as a group, then cut, copy and paste.

Behind the scenes, when you copy a selection of assets/props, it is copying a long string of text. You can see this by opening Notepad and pasting into it. This, in essence, is why it's so easy to share slabs with others.

To view slabs from within Talespire, first click "Open Library" then the "Community Mods" tab (orange tab in centre-top of screenshot below) then lastly the "slabs" button on the far left (again, highlighted orange in screenshot below). This will give you a list of slabs to choose from. You can hover over any for a moment to get a larger preview, or simply click the one you like and it'll be copied, ready to place in your world.

For using slabs found on https://talesbazaar.com/, when you have found a slab you'd like to use, simply click the "Copy" button

Or for using slabs found on https://talestavern.com/, click the "Copy code"

To then use these in game, load up Talespire, open a campaign and a board. Enter build mode by pressing B and you can paste those slabs using Ctrl+V. If you want to adjust the height of where the slab will be placed, hold the Ctrl key and move your mouse forwards/backwards to adjust the designated height of the placement.
Boards
Sometimes players want to share a lot, too much for a slab to handle. For these cases, you can share whole boards.

To access a board that someone else has shared on the sharing websites, open up Talespire and load up the campaign you would like the board added to. Then go to your chosen website and click the "open In Talepsire" button on Tales Bazaar

or click the View In Talespire button on Tales Tavern

You'll then get a prompt in game confirming if you want to add that board to your campaign.

It's as easy as that!

Enjoy!

Thank you so much for the information. I have been playing D&D forquite a few years, and have found a friend who let me know about Talespire. I finally purchased it, and am looking forward to creating, and using Talespire. I have known about Talespire for a couple of years, but it wasn't until the recent holidays that I finally purchased Talespire. Once again, thanks for the enlightening information. :bluewizard: :goldend20: :greenwizard:

When I press the View In Talespire button on Tales Tavern, it gives the the prompt to open but i never get a prompt in game confirming that I want to add the board to my campaign.
