Description
White phosphorus. Flamethrowers. M16s. AKs. Bolt-action rifles and other relics of past wars. Helicopters, patrol boats, and tanks. This isn't a balanced fight between rival armies - this is a brutal, bloody slog between uneven forces in the jungles of East Asia.

This configuration pits the United States Marine Corps vs the Viet Cong (National Liberation Front) in the heart of the Vietnam War. The Viet Cong were communist insurgents who waged war against South Vietnam and its allies alongside the North Vietnamese Army. Their equipment was smuggled in from the North or stolen from the South, so their guns and vehicles aren't as cutting-edge as the USMC's.

The VC will need to get down and dirty to prevail over US forces. At the same time, the USMC will need to deal with the Viet Cong's deadly traps and guns suited for hit-and-run attacks.

Maps featured: River Delta, Mekong River, Japanese Castle Defend, RicePaddy, and Vietnam War.
