"This... is the 2021 Waypoint RattleSnake 500.

Here at Waypoint Manufacturing, we set out to create a no compromises, blast from the past muscle car. A retro body with modern insides. We made it, and it was beautiful.

The RattleSnake was born. Copyright-avoiding name aside, we specifically designed this engine, affectionately named StrikerPack, to set the bar higher for the industry. Our goals? Unrelenting muscle performance in an iconic body style, with a color that’s sure to ruin the weekends of our lawyers.

Made with the highest quality materials and hand-crafted precision, we made a complete monster. A massive naturally aspirated 663 cubic inch V8 with a magnesium block, dual overhead cams with 5 valves, and an aluminum-silicon head. Billet steel for the crankshaft, lightweight titanium conrods, and lightweight forged pistons. Race Tubular headers and dual 3.75-inch exhaust pipes, with bypass valves and nothing restricting airflow.

The power delivery was nothing to laugh at as well. Not that we’re doing any laughing anyway. Out of necessity, we use a 4-speed all-wheel drive dual-clutch gearbox with an electric limited-slip differential. Yes, we know that we can’t call it a Retro Muscle if it has AWD, but we’d figured nobody’s driving this ridiculous thing anyway. The RattleSnake sits on top of thick carbon fiber semi-slick radials with 13 inches 6 piston carbon-ceramic brakes on all four tires. Our preliminary testing shows that the breaks don't work anyway, so best of luck to you.

1285.2 horsepower at 6800RPM, 1003.6 pound-feet of torque at 6400RPM, 0 to 60 MPH in just 2.5 seconds, and a top speed of 217 miles an hour. A hand-made interior with a top-of-the-line heads-up display, comfortably sitting 4 passengers and the driver. Electric variable power steering, electronic stability control with launch control, the latest in safety tech. Active sport springs with semiactive dampers and passive sway bars at a commanding ride height of 9 inches.

Annnnnnd a price tag of $18,700,000. We had to put accounting on suicide watch when they started calculating the numbers. Unfortunately, we had to cancel plans of mass-producing this new standard, so I guess the standard will remain with Superieco. Again.

Anyway, we used the almost cheapest parts for the RattleSnake 500 to cut down costs. We tossed a 500 cubic inch V8 making just shy of 600 horsepower so there would be a reason to sell this way higher than it's actually worth. True to its muscley intent, the RattleSnake 500 has rear-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual transmission. With a top speed of 186 MPH and a 0 to 60 time of 5 seconds, this neutered beast can be yours for only $56,000!

The Striker variant will be made in a limited quantity of 50. Asking for a price will result in you being removed from the premises.
