Description
This split mod adds the Spartiates Veteran Infantry.

This unit has been heavily modified & retextured using a number of my own textures with help & inspiriation from around the modding community.

Custom shields/shoulder pads/chests/bottom chests/belts/helments (ridged corinthian helmet) & many more.

Unit details.

Name - Spartiates Veteran Infantry.
Info - The Spartiates veteran infantry hail from the banks of Eurotas river - valiant in battle & quick to take up arms against any aggressors of Laconia.
Type - Sword Melee
Power - Elite.

Recruitable from L3/L4 main barracks.

Any questions or problems/suggestions or feedback drop me a shout.

Credit to the Radious team & takeR for having some great examples on the workshop for me to learn how to edit additional aspects of models, while these are my own textures without being able to look at other mods I'd be stumped!.

remove the cloaks (scarfs) and the units will look much better

Are you up for modding in actual Gods into R2? Hear me out, how awesome would it be to have a Peltas based Zeus, who has 1000 range, 5000 missile damage and 20 shots per minute. Instead of throwing javelins, throws modded javelins that look like lightning that explode on impact?

That would be so badass.

Great mod, but I've had a problem with it for a while. The unit is all spread out and not together. It looks like a buggy loose-spread formation. Any ideas?. I have a Loose formation mod which gives that to all units, guessing that's causing the conflict?, never had a problem with it before. Cheers for the great work anyhow :).
