Plantera, the gigantic man-eating monstrosity that lurks in the jungle.


Here we are again, another Terraria boss makes its way to the workshop. Plantera was an oddball, and she ended up being a dry run for getting back into the boss making groove. Her model was completed right around the time the latest Terraria update was going to drop, which was also when I switched gears to work on the Guide. That was about a year ago, and it took me this long to muster the will to finish her texture and push her to the workshop.


Why now? When I left the workshop in 2016, I had a many projects(40+) I wanted to complete and upload to the workshop. Those days are behind me, and I find myself moving forward to something new. However, I always had that nagging feeling I was abandoning my old projects. I decided it was time to lay my workshop to rest. I went through my workshop backlog deleting anything that was pointless or too complex, and saving anything that was worth saving.

Plantera survived the culling, and is now here on the workshop. It took two weeks to complete. That's the average time frame for one of these. Expect more in the future. While all of them won't be Terraria-related, there are a few Terraria things I'm hoping to complete and upload. Look forward to TF2 weapons, Bosses, ragdolls, and some other weirdness you won't expect.

-Includes phase 1 and phase 2 as separate models. I decided it was easier to animate by splitting the rigs rather than using bodygroups.

-claw contains a _long version, in case you need more vine.

-grabber contains a _long version, in case you need more vine.

-seed is the projectile phase 1 fires, and comes in two variants. The default is the regular seed, and the second skin is the poison one.

-I'm going to try and keep the boss sizes on the smaller side. Moon Lord was way too big. If you need Plantera to be bigger, use the scale transforms.
