Let's say that this particular Blu Sniper knows what I know about tentaspy and its dark origins, therefore doesn't trust Squishy to grow up. It's more than him wanting the baby tentaspy as a cute baby forever, he (and the rest of Blu team) don't want him to be causing trouble as an adult tentaspy.

The tentaspy in general came from the insane chan boards, mainly the now extinct TF2chan, when they were planning to do a Disney's The Little Mermaid project, but this creature was the only surviving thing that came of it. What I am saying is that tentaspy is a highly sexualize OC design for NSFW TF2 fan works, but it has split in what I approximate as three entities: The cute ones that are "It's so cute, I'm gonna die." At one end and at the other side, the poster boy for "I've seen enough hentai to know were this is going." To the one in between, the tentaspy that's not as extreme as the other two, just the "safe" versions (Yes, I smash all the "safe" tentaspy into one guy). Crossover hopping to prevent a bad future is probably worth the risk.

Slightly off topic, but I have seen all three, the "safe" one and the adorable one are the main ones that I usually see in Deviantart and Tumblr alone, the hentai one is just a waterdown Ecchi version, that I very rarely see, because some careless moron didn't hide it under the "Mature" tag (and some people don't believe me that Deviantart has a few borderline porn there, it's not just TF2) and a few outliners that manage to survive Tumblr's porn purge.
