Mera's Mawalkai - Plateau Delta

Vanilla + Mass Transit map, no custom assets needed. 81 Tiles is recommended to explore it all, but not necessary. Very flat map in the delta itself, with the option to climb up the mountains to wide plateaus and stunning waterfalls!

UPDATED May 26 2021: I have fixed some issues with the map, for example my previous update caused some troubles with the water as I hadn't let it settle before I saved in the editor, which caused flooding and ships getting caught on sand dunes for a few weeks.
I have deepened some of the riverbed to allow for more fishing resources than what shows on the screenshots.
I have also made some changes to the highways and tweaked minor stuff that annoyed me in it's un-prettiness here and there. Hopefully it all works as intended now! :D

This map is a mix of entirely flat land and wild bluffs and plateaus. Will you respect nature and preserve the wild streams and waterfalls of the mountains as you build a green tourist paradise along the soft beaches on the old sea bottom? Or will you tear it all up and exploit the hidden resources in massive, polluting industries?
The choice is all yours, and I would be thrilled to see what you do with my first Cities: Skylines map! <3

Backstory:
Hundreds of years ago this was a huge inland ocean, and these plateaus were the home of a prosperous people. Then, as the world evolved, the rivers and streams that used to fill the majestic Mawalkai Sea were ditched out and their flow was re-directed to sustain the ever-growing industries' greed for water. Slowly, the sea dried out. Trade routes were lost, villages that used to sustain themselves on fishing were abandoned as the coast crept miles away, the people that used to rule this land was scattered and their culture was lost forever.
Now, the country is small, poor and insignificant to the rest of the world. The struggles to keep up with technology and infrastructure are overwhelming and expensive, and the small nation has nothing to offer on the global market.

Until now! An entire nation held their breath as it was announced: We have found oil.
Now you have been appointed as the one to save our country from ruin. The government has bet everything on this project, if you do not succeed the country will go bankrupt and we will be engulfed by the neighbouring nations. Can you save us? Can you create a city so grand and technologically advanced that our young will stay? Can you put us on the map once again and revive a dead land? Can you show the world that, even though the Mawalkai Sea is gone, we are still strong!
