Celebrities

• Main Changes: Rock Bands have been renamed to Celebrities, and are purchased with Gold (their cost is increased). This is to reference the rise of Celebrity Culture that is an important aspect of our current times. All promotion names have been adjusted to better fit this flavour. In turn, their "Album Sales" stat is now Popularity instead, to make sense within the theme. Celebrities are also unlocked at the discovery of Radio and require Broadcast Towers to ensure they feel part of the cultural gameplay entirely. A lot of texts have been updated to adjust to this flavour change.
  
• Wonder Changes: Broadway, Cristo Redentor and Sydney Opera House all provide bonuses for Celebrities to enhance the cultural late game.
  
• New Merchant: Brian Epstein joins the roster of Great Merchants providing some additional Popularity for Celebrities, as well as a free Celebrity with the "Press Coverage" promotion.
  
• Monopoy Integration: With Monopoly mode enabled, Celebrities receive a promotion that allows them to perform at Corporations, Industries and Commercial Hubs called "Brand Ambassador".

It is suggested that you play this mod with the other mods from the Monopoly++ Collection. And yes, you can play this one without Monopoly, but it is included in the collection for the overarching theme of the pack.

Please note, this version of the mod *requires* Gathering Storm.

The mod should be compatible with JNR's district expansion mods, however if any issue arises feel free to report it.
