-----

This mod currently has 2 stages implemented.

Stage 1:
All vanilla pets have been buffed, to roughly T4 Fighter thrall damage and health/armour.
"Roughly" because the pets retain their individual strengths and weaknesses, for example, Tigers will still do more damage than elephants, but elephants will still have more tank than Tigers.
Some of these improvements will be there from Level 0, but most are gained as the pet is levelled.
This applies to all vanilla pets that are levelled after the mod is installed. If a player wants the buffs on already levelled pets, they'll have to pick them up (if possible), place them again, and relevel.

Stage 2:
6 different "premium" pets have been added, which have been reskinned and buffed even further.
Mutated Sabretooth Tigers, Mutated Spiders, Mutated Panthers, Mutated Boars and Mutated Shalebacks are situated somewhere between AoC Faction Captains and Faction Champions, and the Mutated Scorpion Queen is a boss - slightly stronger than Champions.
These pets also come in tank and assault variants - with different attribute distributions and in the case of the tank variants, added taunts.
The premium pets are admin spawn only, for details, please also see the "Instructions" discussion below this text.

thanks for this great mod. can you create more variants of mutated pets? (bear, wolf, lion etc.) also can you make some dark skinned mutated pets too?

No problem. I didn't know that they were in the address bar thank you.

(It's in the address bar for this page, that works for every mod)

Mini: Sorry for the late reply! It affects all vanilla pets, including the DLC ones.

What is the mod Id?

Does this affect the stats of DLC animals? The caravan rhino is a staple for me because of the slots.

Oh thank you for clearing that up!

Update on the previous post: AoC just adapted to using the NPCStatsAndGrowthDataTable, and they're using custom entries now - meaning there is no longer a conflict with my mod. AoC pets will now have the stats their creator intended, no matter if AoC or this mod is loaded first :)

@Vindsama: Not intended, but known - I seem to have forgotten to list it in "Known Issues" though, will add that tonight.
To change the stats of vanilla pets, I had to change the entries for their "categories". Like, panthers, tigers and sabretooths for example all get their stats from the same place - an entry called "Cat" in the stats table. Any pets from other mods that also use the "Cat" entry as their bases will thus get the same buffs. That one can't be avoided sadly. The only way around that would be either to have every single modder switch their stat base, or to remove the pets you don't want to be buffed from your itemTable completely. That part is actually easy, but it means those pets would not be available at all.

@Vevend: Unfortunately still outside my skillset. There is a solution though - if you wanted a mod that only buffs the vanillas, not introduces premiums, it's very easy to make it with your own values - there's basically only one file that has to be changed. Because that file is the Funcom-broken one and it has to be overwritten, the mod will need immediate maintenance whenever Funcom makes changes to that file (NPCStatsAndGrowthsDataTable), which means I can't maintain the mod myself, I'll already have my hands full.
But I'd be very happy to instruct you in how to make and maintain one with lower values for your server, it's easy. :)

Hello there, nice mod!
It seems to have buffed the AoC pets as well, was it intended? I have a Scourge Hound with 32k HP rn.
