During its existence, the building has undergone a number of changes and differs from the original. Nowadays windows are double-glazed, air conditioners are installed, some windows have been bricked or resized. Some facade materials have been changed, and grilles have been installed on the windows of the lower floors. The model is close to the appearance of the building at the time of construction. Today, the building houses the Higher School of Engineering and Economics and the Higher School of Management and Business, which are subdivisions of the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics and Trade of SPbPU.
