you did activate it before hitting, right? (its the button on its base)

i just tried the sea mine, i hit it with a medium ship, and it didn't explode. Am i doing something wrong? ( i do have the weapons dlc.)

sure! I've killed a sub once using that, you can change it to be deeper before spawning it, if the sub is deep.

Does this work for subs and them laying it under water?

seems to have very little winch range. only 20 meters. wont really help for waters deeper than 20 meters
