Cheaper Upgrades (OUTDATED)

Description
To speed up campaign progression and to reduce tedious grinding this mod halves most of the upgrade base prices and for the most part also reduces the price increase.

A few upgrades have their cost even more reduced like the speed of the fabricators or the deconstructor as this is mostly a quality of life upgrade

In comparison to other mods which additionally are also buffing the effects of the upgrades, this mod only changes the prices and it does not touch the upgrades in any other ways than that, because i didn't want to make the upgrades too strong.

Reducing the cost for absolute must have upgrades like the hull upgrades, also opens up some choice for the players how they want to spend their money, instead of being practically forced to spend it all on the hull in the early game, if they want to progress further to the deeper parts of europa.

The cost of most the weapon upgrades are unchanged (except for the vision range upgrade, which was ridiculously expensive) because i think non-upgraded guns are balanced and upgrading them early in a campaign would make the game too easy.

I also wanted to bring the rest of the prices more in line with their actual impact on the gameplay.

Of course this mod is incompatible with other mods which override the "UpgradeModules.xml"

with the knowledge i have i basically have to edit the Meaningufl Upgrades files manually one by one and upload it as a seperate mod. Its not hard to do, just a lot of work.

Ah, okay good to know it is outdated.

However, shouldn't you be able to get the mod ID from the end of the URL, go into the workshop files for Barotrauma, find that ID, then find the upgrades file for it and make a version that would've had the changes from there and here? I just have zero clue how to put it on steam or not have it be overridden to which ever mod I would've put the other's changes in.

No, this is outdated, it was for a version when upgrades were much more expensive, since the game now has much cheaper updates i have no reason to update this anymore.
As for compability with Meaningful Upgrades i have neither the knowledge or the time to make it compatible with other mods and/or keep it updated.
