"After having started drawing again very recently, I got the idea of actually trying to do some concept art for this game again. Starting off with some Phalanx masks, since he seems to be lacking a bit in that department. And rather than doing it digitally, like how most concept art is made nowadays, I actually decided to do it traditionally, at least to start off.

Since I'm very rusty and just in general not that experienced with art, it proved to be pretty difficult and I ended up spending a lot of time on just these 2 (or rather 1.5) very simple masks. I actually have very little knowledge of anatomy and how to draw forms correctly etc and combined with the 3/4 view I really just had to guess a lot of stuff. But nonetheless I think so far it turned out fairly okay.

I also had some trouble with the ideas themselves, since I really don't have any experience with concept art and design, though things went better once I started looking up some more reference.

In any case, enough rambling, I actually had a lot of fun with this and it was a decent learning experience so far, so I'll definitely keep going."
