Right: "did not use". ;-) Sorry for the confusion. All the best, Tob

Thanks Tob. I assume you meant to type “did not use” any third party files etc. It’s just I do not own the GWR Pannier Tank Add-on you mentioned as a requirement. No reply necessary. Thanks again Gerald

Hello gemeh4dc, I'm afraid I can't help on this. I did use any 3rd party files / packs apart from the one I've named in the route. All the best, Tob

Great improvement to Falmouth route. I subscribed to TB-stopper Falmouth-Truro and as I do not have the GWR Pannier Tank add-on I thought I would use TS Tools to swap for the Riviera in 50s Pannier. I cannot get your enhanced route to appear on TS Tools in order to access the scenario. I assume you did not use a AP file for the route. I appreciate this is more a TS Tools question but wonder if you have any idea what I am doing wrong.

You are welcome, chris. Maybe give manual firing a try. It's not that difficult and gives you more control of the machine's power. All the best, Tob

OK have persevered and now successfully completed the run twice, once without speeding! I always set brakes to running, with GWR engines generally about 33%, but can't find a setting on the Pannier? I tend to use auto fireman so can't control firemass but have managed to figure out throttle / cut-off settings to maintain boiler pressure for the Pannier, so eventually getting the hang of it. Not too embarrassed because in real life I am sure it took them nay years to get the hang of firing / driving. Still - give me a Jinty any day of the week. Many thanks TobBirk.

Hello Chris, this train / service shouldn't be a big problem. Same questions here: Do you set the brakes to "Running" in order to reduce steam usage? Set a firemass of about 70%. Don't try to run at line speed, instead keep an eye onto boiler pressure and remaining lenght of the incline. All the best, Tob

Again I couldn't get this to work on timing into Perranwell. Coming up the 1in59 from Penryn I could only get the Pannier up to 15.2 mph even flat out so was late into Perranwell. Maybe, as an LMS man, I am just not driving these GWR green beasts how they like to be driven. Sorry.

Great video, hamtgerry! I liked the music at the beginning and end (a fugue by J.S. Bach at the the end?), the informative and sometimes funny comments - really nice! Well, the route-author himself gave you the first like on YouTube. :-D All the best, Tob
