There are, I think, two green reskins for the North Somerset 117 ; one is or was available from VP and portrayed a preserved example. The other has just been released via the Recreating Lost Routes group on Facebook and includes green withj and without whiskers and an early blue version - but still has the headlight and a modern font on the destination blind.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback, Tony. The 117 is the perfect choice for this route! I didn't know there's a reskin a available. I own the green 117 which was released many, many years ago and has been taken out of the STEAM store. All the best, Tob

Thank you for another good scenario Tob. I actually swapped the Class 111 for the North Somerset Class 117 with Paul Williams' green reskin, which may be more realistic for the route, and with the AP enhancement pack as well it was challenging on gear changing for the hills. So your scenario gave me a lazy way to do a drive I wanted ! Thanks for all your hard work, your scenarios always have good static AI, and the lack of moving AI would be entirely realistic at that time of day.

Hello Paul, I am happy to hear that. The memory errors can be decreased quite a lot with this workaround. All the best, Tob

Hi Tob,
Thanks for the tips re: Memory Management.
I normally clear the cache but up to now have not changed the Page File.
Have now changed the Initial Page File to 1.5 times my RAM size and Maximum Page File to 3 times my RAM size. i.e. 24 Gb and 48 Gb respectively.
Looks good so far.
Many Thanks
Paul

Hello Paul, ah, that memory-crash is a real pain! Terrible! What helps a little bit: clearing the cache each time you close TS (telling NO to the restart) and increasing the Windows page to a fixed value. TS' memory management seems to be very bad. Kind regards, Tob

Hi Tob,
Re-tried your scenario with a "Display Message" at the final destination and completed O.K.
I should have mentioned yesterday that my computer crashed at the final destination, so did not give me a "Successfull" tick but obviously nothing to do with your scenario.
I always play in 64-bit mode with 16 Gb of RAM but still get the occasional "Memory Dump error" (nowhere near as much as in 32-bit mode) which I still think is due to the way that TS handles memory, but they would probably disagree !
Anyway, another enjoyable scenario on your enhanced route.
Best Regards,
Paul
