[REP] Dogma on Angel Pool

The only way to get Dogma is throught beating Dogma or using the Death Certificate to get it... That makes me think, you can use an endgame item to have all OP items at your disposal, including Sacred Heart, Tech X and etc. Why would you reject all those marvelous things only to get Dogma?? IT DOESN'T WORTH IT.

Not that Dogma is a terrible item, however, it becomes a terrible item when compared to all the other OP items on Death Certificate's room.

Wanna get Dogma but don't want to choose betwean Dogma and Sacred Heart (or any other OP item)? Well, worry no longer my fellow friend, this mod is for you.

PS: Dogma doesn't stack, so if you go to Dogma fight and take another Dogma, you won't have double its effect like holy mantle or healing.

there is a serious bug.this mod will remove C Section from any item pool.

@Tarluk it also has some kind of glow around it I think

maybe all those effects were only added after they decided it would be only an item to help after the dogma fight, and it was previously meant to be in the actual game

@Alien_Halls #TôB The reason it's animated is only because of the way the Dogma filter in general works; a specific color in the game is used for the Dogma sprites and then the game automatically applies the filter to that specific color. So if you look in the game files, it's actually a very boring static sprite of a dark blue cross.

The sprite's mainly just there as a placeholder for if you find it through Death Certificate or Spindown Dice. I think the fact that the item gives a Holy Mantle effect that only lasts for the room you pick it up in along with the fact that it gives a Normal Mode-exclusive The Wafer effect that never activates in Hard mode shows enough that it was only meant to ever be used in the fight with The Beast.

I always loved how this item looked and I always thought it was lame you could only get it before a fight you won't even feel the difference
