How to Fix the Non-working Controller Bug

I've had a bug in my game that didn't allow me to use controllers, and i know at least 1 other person has had this problem, so this guide is here to prevent any further frustration at trying to fix this bug.

So, to fix this bug you have to go to the top left corner of your steam window, to the thing that says Steam, and click it. From there you go to Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings, then click the type of controller you have. Badda bing badda boom, it should be workin' now
