i HAVE A 3070 WITH A RYZEN 7. Win 10. What I did was change the compatibility mode of the game exe to Windows 7, run as administrator and turned off full screen optimization. Also downloaded the "missing files" that he mentions to download. None of this worked until I went into task manager then details and changed the steam.exe affinity and made my cores go from 15 to 11. This is what made my game start....
I'm on AMD platform with AMD graphics.
I've also ticked ''run as admin'' just in case.
Did the set affinity to two cores for other steam service as one of the comments (didnt work with just this)
And also downloaded missing files.
(Keyboard disconnect didnt work for me)
Alternatively I tried all sorts of launch options for steam, they seem to be ignored
1.Start Steam
2.Open the task manager and go to details section
3. Find Steam.exe and SteamService,exe and set affinity to cpu0 and cpu1
4.play the game
