Imperial Knight
Imperial Knights are Ancient Warmachines, said to all hail from the Dark Age of Technology, when Humanity regined over the Galaxy not through sheer number of troops raised, but through sheer technological superiority. The Knights however are from even before Humanities peak, when they just started settling the stars and needed protection for their many colonies. The Knights where that Protection. Able to supress large and aggresive local Wildlife with ease, and carry heavy loads over otherwise impassable terrain
In the modern Imperium the Knights and the so called Knight houses commanding them Still serve as protectors of the citizens of these Knight-Worlds, although now much less against endemic threats, and much more those that seek to bring humanity as a whole to its knees.
Each Knight is neurolinked to its pilot through an ancient apperatus, called the Throne Mechanicum. Every applicant has to undergo a ritual, where they imprint their personality on the Throne and in turn, they have the Personallities of all those that came before them, imprinted, on themselves.
While the vast majority of Knights are stationed on the Knight worlds they hail from, safely stored in their houses huge fortresses, many Knights choose , o rare forced to wander the Stars on their own, seeking battles, driven by personal grudges, quests for Honour, Redemption, or a desire to destroy the many enemies of man.

Controls:
-Use WASD to move in the corresponding direction
-Press Shift to sprint forward
-To cut movement Animations short, use CTRL
-Use the Mouse to aim the knight aswell as its weapons

Weapons include
-Rapid Fire Battlecannon
-Arm Mounted Heavy Stubber
-Chainsword
-Shoulder Mounted Heavy Stubber (controlled by second seat)
-The Knight has a forward facing Ion Shield, that activates automatically, when it is being tracked by lock-on weapons
-Use X for Exhaust fire (doubles as countermeasures)

Additional Information:
Every vehicle featured in this mod can be used in every land vehicle's place.

We as the creators of this mod do not take responsibility for getting the vehicle to behave as intended on any given Maps, be they vanilla, or custom
This vehicle is quite performance heavy, and that can not be changed. It is up to you to figure out, how many knights your specific setup can handle

Roadmap:
we are gonna keep working on the Knight in the near future, to bring you different Weapon Loadouts and Colour Variations.
For the latter we are still taking propositions on our discord server.
So if you are interested in seeing your custom designed Knight ingame (within reason), feel free to join us and post a proposition in the designated channels.

is it so hard for you guys just to read the damn mod description like the biggest part of it is its lore (which you can just ignore since its just wh40k lore) more than anything else

Anyone have issues with the knight constantly moving? It never stands still it's either always forward or reverse.

@dullen You can hit a tank, you just have to be the right distance away from it, and "swing" from the right angle.
