Ion Class Cruiser

The Ion is a mid sized stealth cruiser aimed at the godly class using a nearly entirely decoration built body. It relies on a ton of different systems and active defenses to deal consistent damage with its large missile swarms.

The Ion both has over its cost in fire power and substantial defense systems. It is an efficient ship built around a relatively large central LAMS system. The Ion is armed with four medium torpedoes, 12 large missiles, a ton of medium missiles, and a frontal gun that doubles as a railgun CIWS. Although the gun shuts down over 1000 meters range, it's still effective beyond that distance.

Defense wise, the Ion has the aforementioned LAMS, along with a ton of interceptors, including missile, torpedo, and multipurpose interceptors. It also has strength 10 shielding and smoke along with decent armor in most areas.

The main built in weaknesses of this craft are smoke being placed under the LAMS to prevent firing and EMP weakness in the shields. The missiles also have reduced armor and the LWCs are placed near ammo. This craft should also have nearly no answer to submarines as well, although it can defend against most missile and torpedo based subs.
