EMD E8 Amtrak Pride

Amtrak was formed on May 1, 1971 to take over passenger services from private railroads across the US due to decline in service. Amtrak provides medium and long-distance intercity service in the contiguous United States and to nine Canadian cities. This train is modeled after the Midnight livery on EMD E8 locomotives. The livery has been reworked to resemble the progress pride flag. The locomotive is numbered 1969 for the year of the Stonewall riots that started the gay rights movement in the US.

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to its length some additional consideration might be needed when setting up passenger stations for it. Consult the "How to use very long passenger trains, building station complex" by REV0
