Responsibility
*Soundflower does not work anymore guys, sorry for the inconvenience*

Before we get started, I'm going to mention a minor detail:
If you are kicked/banned from a server, do not place me responsible. This is simply a guide and whatever you do with your micspam is at your own accord. k?

The Actual Tutorial
This is my first guide. It's probably pretty bad compared to other ones, but here goes...

This tutorial is meant for Mac users, but if you are a Windows user you can still accomplish this with VAC (Virtual Audio Cable). Unfortunately, VAC isn't free...

The only program you will need for this is Soundflower. It's free, simple to use, and works with just about any game whether it be a Steam game or not. What Soundflower does is redirect audio through different "channels". What we'll be doing is redirecting our computer audio to play through our microphones, so whenever you talk you will actually be playing whatever audio your computer picks up (which for this tutorial will be micspam).

Here is a quick link to download Soundflower
http://soundflower.en.softonic.com/mac

Once you have Soundflower installed on your computer, open it and enable "Built-in Output" then go to Audio Setup.

Now, you'll see how your Mac distributes your audio. By default it's set to "Built-in Input" for your sound input (how you'll talk to others), and "Built-In Output" for your sound output (how you'll hear just about anything). Set both your sound input and output to "Soundflower (2ch)" by rightclicking and selecting them. 2ch is stereo. You may also change the volume of the input/ouput to the right however you please.

Now, open System Preferences and go to Sound. Doublecheck that the Output/Input have "Soundflower (2ch)" selected.

Now that you've redirected your computer audio to play through your microphone, lets "disable" push-to-talk. Killing Floor sadly limits voice chat users to hold down a button in order to speak, but we're going to work around that per-say.

Open up your User.ini, which is located under your Killing Floor/System folder. You will need to open this file with TextEdit.

Scroll down a little 'til you see a bit of code that looks like this:

Aliases[28]=(Command="Button bVoiceTalk",Alias="VoiceTalk")

You'll need to replace "Button" with "Toggle" so that it looks like this:

Aliases[28]=(Command="Toggle bVoiceTalk",Alias="VoiceTalk")

Now, instead of holding down the voice button (whatever you have it set to) during the length of the micspam, you can simply toggle it on or off.

Save the file, and you're done!

To do some final testing to make sure everything works, go to your Steam Friends tab and click the little arrow next to your name and select "Change Profile Name".

Choose the Voice tab and make sure that your device is set to Soundflower (2ch) and test the microphone. Pull up any song (on youtube, itunes, whatever) and start playing it. If the microphone test picks up on the audio, you've done everything right!

A few quick notes before you go on your micspam parade...

1) You have to be an actual player during the match, you cannot be in spectator and micspam UNLESS you have admin access.
2) For some reason, you can tell if you're micspamming ONLY when viewing your game hud, so if you're dead you will have to enter first-person-spectator mode on a surviving player. This can be accomplished by typing behindview 1 in console
3) If you open any menus (like the trader, kick, or map menu) or open console, it will cut off your audio, so remember to toggle it back on
4) If you switch the Soundflower channels in-game, Killing Floor may be unable to let you micspam. Simply restart Killing Floor if this happens

If you have any questions, feel free to comment!

The exact methods of this tutorial don't apply for CSGO. Since CSGO runs off Source2 (mind I've hardly touched CSGO and don't know much about it) you would likely need to use this script http://gamebanana.com/scripts/8113 . That being said, I haven't tested if this works on CSGO but it most certainly works on TF2

@Not You I have transitioned back to Windows since I made this guide. If Soundflower is dead then I would experiment around with JackOSX. That being said, I have no experience with that program so I cannot verify if that would suffice.
