You don't need Portal for this to work!

For the first time ever, I managed to compile a map. Thanks to the Valve Developer community I was able to compile this map and fixing up the textures. I give all help to them. But using Hammer's very weird to me.

This map name is... gm_portal_beta_lab.

The doors may look different in my screenshots. That's because I'm using a model replacement for them. Ignore my missing textures for pipes in my previous screenshots because I had different models from content in my game.

This is one of Portal's beta maps, from the 2005 version of it.
Instead of fighting an evil unnamed AI (whose name btw is only known by you either if you look it up, someone telling you, you just happened to look at one part which gives a name, or you put subtitles on in Portal 2, same with the other characters except for one, guess which one that is in Portal 2 if you have the subtitles on..) , here you need to escape the lab.

To escape the lab, you'll need to find batteries to charge the Auxiliary Power Unit - a battery is already inserted in for you. These batteries should be around here somewhere...
Once the Auxiliary Power Unit is charged up, then the door that was locked is open, and it's over. It's dooooone!

Since it's to be fair hard to complete without the Portal Gun, I made it so that.. you would be able to get them without it.
