personally, i don't like terraria, its combat isn't very engaging, the building is a bit confusing, the world is too small even on the largest setting, and the crafting isn't great, not to mention the lack of a clear story. but i don't hate it, its got some cool bosses and its armor isn't have bad either, the way it looks generally is also pretty great and the world events are kinda cool. i'll always prefer starbound over terraria but terraria will always have a place in my heart as a childhood favorite, even if starbound is closer to the front.

terraria is amazing. tmodloader is amazing. starbound is amazing. the starbound workshop is amazing. I rest my case.

I prefer Starbound over Terraria, but to each their own! And Terraria is still a fantastic game in its own right! =D
