(2) A round wooden object let me create the hint of a turntable for tracks, in particular for the mining carts. So I created a train track layout that connected several of the mines be they abandoned or in use. The cargo train is currently stopping at the train station, that lets you visit the small farm. The passenger train track makes use of the high ground of the canyon rock, passing over several bridges. There is even a bison pasture.

(1) After completing AEons Rift in Time , I really liked how the river canyon turned out, and since I have yet to actually use the "Wild West" theme to any significant extent, this posed a interesting opportunity. I also wanted to do more with the train set of objects, and find a way to have a track cross over another track, possibly add something like a tunnel. Some experimenting with the canyon objects led to what you see here.

All that desert made me want to add some form of oasis with lush greenery. The area is protected from the desert sands and slightly hidden. It turned into something of a small national park.
