Weapons - Organized and Compared
By Drake Ravenwolf
The weapon store isn't that well organized making it difficult to compare weapons directly to one another... that's what this guide is for

Introduction
I'll be sorting weapons by their ammo type while also making note of sidearms (can be assigned to slot #4) as well as weapons which differ significantly from others in the same class (usually just those which cannot accept a silencer)

Within each section I've sorted the weapons by:
1st: (Damage + Rate of Fire) with Damage breaking ties
2nd: (Accuracy + Range)
Last: Handling

All weapons are fully upgraded; usually with the most expensive scope possible, but I did put red-dot scopes on all the shotguns instead of anything higher-end. Reason for doing this was to facilitate apples-apples comparisons.

my dude.....the second labeled 50 cal...a desert eagleis chambered in .50 AE and the rifles are chambered in .50 BMG (also referred to as 12.7×99mm) there is a big difference

Thats a good tip! (mars weaponry vaporizes loot)
As I continue to find more info, it looks like all the DLC Unlocks are reskins with the exact same stats. Thanks for confirming this in your guide!

fyi the mars weapons tend to vaporize their targets leaving NO loot - powerful but keep that in mind

Great guide! But I came looking for what the unlocks are on the DLC, during the sale. I saw on yt there are shovels or outfits on the Zombie DLC, but can't find pictures nor any stats info on them. From your guide it would seem that the MARS DLC would have the best weaponry unlocks. I'm unsure if there is a good reason to unlocking the unlocks.

I don't like "picking winners," but with this sorting algorithm - the higher a weapon is within the section the "better" it ought to be. So my advice would be to start with the 1st one and see what you think, don't like it? Try the 2nd one, and so on

Excellent presentation and great work. One thing I might suggest if you have the time and want to is select a winner or tied overall winner (I would exclude the OP expansion lasers and stuff) or winners and a runner up in each category. I know some are so close statistically it really doesn't matter but in some categories that are lengthy (rifles for instance) it might help to narrow it down to a general "suggested fully automatic" and "suggested semi-automatic". Just a thought. I really wish the Far Cry Games would give you more dynamic differences between weapons of the same category, and more weapons in general.
