Copper Republic Black Sail Space Station

Copper Republic has recently deployed the Black Sail space station. It orbits very close to the Cluster's black hole.

Its main purpose is to harvest antimatter, a relatively unknown and mysterious form of matter. It is able to do this via nuclear technology. The center of the station is the segment collecting the antimatter. Antimatter is rarely found around celestial bodies with strong magnetic fields, such as gas giants. The Cluster's black hole on the other hand has a much stronger magnetic field than an average gas giant and houses much more antimatter.

The antimatter collected by Black Sail was later used for appliances such as the Atomic Removal Device or the Atomic Removal Gun. It is quite possible that as time goes by, many more technologies utilizing antimatter will be discovered.

The station includes the antimatter harvesting module, a medbay, a stock of parts for repairs, a control centre, a communications centre, a nuclear reactor and a photo-voltaic panel array. The station is still orbiting the black hole, collecting more antimatter. The station may be expanded upon in the future.

WARNING! ANY ATTACK ON THE BLACK SAIL SPACE STATION WILL INEVITABLY RESULT IN THE COPPER REPUBLIC DECLARING WAR ON THE ATTACKER!
