Add up the item price, power and durability of industrial grade mining tools such as Drills and Pickaxes to a considerable amount making it a viable use instead of a mere vendor trash after you upgrade your Manipulator.
Didn't add recipes, as a Protectorate member wouldn't have to be qualified to use those thanks to Matter Manipulator.
